Welcome to

CITIZENS FOR
ACCOUNTABLE ELECTIONS

King County Washington

Thank You Voters of King County.

This November 4th, YES on Charter Amendment No. 1 prevailed with 56%
of the vote!

It took two years and $200,000 to bring this public policy change to King County. King County will now elect their Director of Elections as do all other counties in Washington state.

We have a small debt and would appreciate your help in retiring it - hit our donation page today! [Select the "How" link below to donate.]

The election for a New Director of Elections will be held on February 3, 2009.

THE PROBLEM:
The King County Elections Director is currently a (political) appointee who serves at the pleasure of the King County Executive.

THE SOLUTION: The King County Elections Director should be an elected non-partisan who is accountable to all King County voters.

THE ACTION: The grassroots, non-partisan drive to qualify I-25 has been successful! [click here for photo] 74,000 people signed the Petition!

We need your support!
